The Telugu Association of Greater Orlando (TAGO) is a nonprofit organization that celebrates Telugu culture and heritage through cultural, literacy, and volunteer programs. Our mission is to foster a sense of community between the Telugu people of Central Florida whilst preserving and increasing awareness of our shared culture.

For many of us living away from our roots, TAGO is where our language is spoken with pride, our traditions are lived, and our children grow up connected to who they are. It is also where our elders feel respected, valued, and supported.

What truly defines TAGO is not only the celebrations we host, but the way we stand together — in moments of joy, challenge, and vulnerability. This spirit of togetherness is our greatest strength.

As President, my commitment is simple: to carry forward the light we have inherited, to keep our community inclusive and connected, and to ensure our culture continues to thrive for the generations to come.
