Job Responsibilities:
As a member of our Applications Team you
will be responsible for providing production
support and new development.
Understand, analyze, design, and develop web
based systems and associated modules using Java
SDK, J2EE, HTML/ DHTML, JavaScript, Oracle DBMS,
XML, DTD/XSD, JDBC, JSP, JSTL, Struts1.1/2.0,
and Web Services, Spring Framework, and Eclipse/Jdeveloper.
Perform software coding, testing, debugging,
documentation, and installation tasks for
on-line processes in accordance with industry
best practices and specific internal procedures
and standards.
Contribute to task identification, work
effort estimates, and work schedules for
development and maintenance activities.
Participate in the analysis and definition
of efficient, cost effective application
solutions which support client business
processes and functional requirements.
Participate in all phases of the software
development lifecycle including the design,
development, integration, testing, and
implementation phases.
Implement new features for existing
application and assist in building new
applications based on customer specification,
involvement in the entire software development
lifecycle process.
Required Skills:
3-5 years of software/application
development experience to include technical
knowledge in respect to Java SDK, J2EE, Eclipse/Jdeveloper,
SQL, HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, Spring Framework,
JDBC, JSP, JSTL, Struts, XML, XSL, DTD/XSD
programming development environments.
Development experience with Oracle DBMS.
Good understanding of Object Oriented
Analysis and Design and methodologies.
Strong skills required in critical thinking
and analysis, verbal and written communications,
and interpersonal interactions.
Desired Skills:
Experience in Web Services is preferred.
Experience in SOA is an added advantage.
Minimum Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience,
required in Computer Science or related field.

Job Responsibilities:
Will be part of a 9-10 person DBA
team that manages several databases and
must be able to work independently with
minimum guidance in a team environment.
Responsible for day to day
administration of Oracle databases.
Monitoring database statistics and
other application specific parameters to
maintain performance of the system.
Work with developers to promote
their code and solve any issues.
Work closely with other teams for
application code release and regression
testing of application.
Develop UNIX scripts to automate
processes and procedures.
Required Skills:
7 plus years of Oracle DBA
experience.
5 years experience with handling of
medium to large OLTP or large DSS
database in a UNIX environment.
Expertise in areas of Oracle 9i/10g
Database Tuning, SQL tuning, and
optimization of query plans.
Experience in implementing database
backup and recovery strategies and
procedures.
Experience in UNIX/Perl Shell
scripting.
Strong problem solving skills and
ability to self-manage to meet
deliverables.
Desired Skills:
Exposure to Oracle 11g environment
will be plus.

product evaluation to attain quality of software

Review new or modified programs, including
documentation, diagram, and flow charts, to

Use a wide application of theories,
